  DIRECTIONS:  Lola Happy Bistro, 3421 E. Plaza Blvd., National City 91950, is almost a mile east of the 805-Plaza Blvd exit, at the signal-lighted intersection of Plaza Blvd and Manchester Street. We will be in the restaurant with a few regular customers.

Lolit, Sol and Roland were in the front line.  Irish and Zeny were in the 2nd line. Eva (hidden), Marilinda and Remy were in the 3rd line.  Mary Jane, Beth, Cesar and Fe were in back.  

 

 

 BALLROOM DANCING was abundant. In the photo above, Ruben was dipping Gemma while they were dancing what probably was a swing dance.

Nedy and Angie were behind them.

 

 

  ROLAND'S INSPIRING LINE DANCERS performed a special line dance in colorful attire.  Zeny and Cesar were in the front, more or less.  Behind them we see Roland, Merely, Remy, Mary Jane, Eva, and Irish. Sol was off to the right, all in white.  They danced the "Party Jumpin' " line dance ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LVI2p1EVDfw ).

 

 

  BALLROOM DANCING was in abundance.  In the photo above, Amor enjoyed dancing with Bert Alota to what appears to be a night club 2-step.

 

 

 BIRTHDAY CELEBRANTS with birthdays in April posed behind the birthday cake and ice cream.  Among their gifts were flashlights and what appears to be lottery tickets from DJ Nickie.  They were Ver, first-timer Del, Mark, Angie and Karina

A STRIPES NIGHT DANCE PARTY was at Lola Happy Bistro for our third Thursday night party there, this past Thursday, March 27, 2025, with DJ Nickie Bascos, on a cool and dry night.  There were about 55 in attendance, thanks in part to 5 first-timers.  Here are 7 photos from last Thursday's Dance Party, all copied from Thursday Night Dancers Facebook posts:

  You are invited to a STRIPES NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Lola Happy Bistro this coming Thursday March 27th, at Lola Happy Bistro, 3421 E. Plaza Blvd., National City 91950 ( https://lolahappybistro.com/ ), with the marvelous DJ Nickie Bascos.  There'll be lots of dancing, fun, and food and beverages off the menu (don't bring any food or beverages - you are urged to buy a dinner, even if you just take it home).  STRIPES-attired dancers vie for prizes. DJ Nickie will play for line dancing 6pm-7pm, and mixed ballroom & line dances until 9:30pm.  A cool and dry night is currently forecast.
